The Ministry of Commerce, on Sunday, deleted about one hundred thousand people across the country between the deceased and the nationalities of non-Iraqi.
The ministry said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, proclaiming "the results of the final audits are registered according to the ration card system after the completion of the audit committees formed for this purpose and included all centers of the ration in all regions of the country, including areas of the region."
The statement noted that "the results of the checks carried out by the technical staff in the ministry registered under the ration card system resulted in the deletion of 98,819 people, where the number of deaths reached 53 961 people, was and after coordination with the General Elections Commission about the deaths deleted 25,155 people."
"The audit committees managed after great efforts to delete more than 19,703 people from non-Iraqi individuals of Turkish and Syrian nationalities in the provinces of Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah after registration illegally."
He added that "checks have seen significant cooperation from citizens reporting of deaths especially in the older age groups which helped to delete these numbers as well as the efforts made by the technical staff in the Department of Supply Centers and electronic calculators in the planning and follow-up department."
The ministry called in a statement "all citizens to report on the status of the deaths directly to the agents of food or supply centers to avoid legal accountability and clarification in a transparent manner as to help maintain public money and help the spoilers to get the funds allocated for the poor and needy."
The Commerce Minister Mohammed Shia 'Al Sudani announced earlier check the deceased large and reconstruction as well as non-Iraqi nationals registered in the provinces of Dahuk, Sulaymaniyah and continued audits more than two months.
