[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Washington-Iraq Press -3 May / May: US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter said onMonday evening, "Prime Minister Haider al -Abadi in a strong position despite the political turmoil in Iraq."
He said Carter told reporters who were accompanying him landing his plane in Germany that "due to reasons including field successes and commitment to be a multi - sectarian state."
" It seems that al - Abadi in a very strong position, we of course support him strongly because of whathe believes in."
Hundreds of protesters stormed the Green Zone incentral Baghdad, last Saturday, and entered the parliament building and sat on the House ofRepresentatives seats and surrounded the Council of Ministers before retreating to the Square festivities, and then from theGreen Zone , a decision of the committee supervising the demonstrations.
