President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, announced Thursday its support for the reform process in the institutions of the provincial government and said he referred the 93 dossier of corruption to the Integrity Commission and the Prosecutor General in the Kurdistan region.
Barzani said in a statement its support for the reform plan which had been prepared in cooperation with the Kurdistan Regional Government and the World Bank and with the support and cooperation of the United Nations and the institutions concerned.
He added that during the past three months in the framework of the announcement of the reform and tackle corruption program was introduced 93 dossier to the Integrity Commission and the prosecutor "who in turn refer some of these files to the judiciary."
As part of the reform and transparency and to reduce expenses and increase revenues process of the region's president said that the provincial government has issued 40 resolutions in the previous period, mostly concerning the transparency and regulation of the oil sector.
The passing of the Kurdistan region and the economic and financial crisis as a result of lower oil prices and a dispute with Baghdad province allocated to the budget.
