Romi hails Hakim’s initiative over holding meeting for all political sides

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid Romi, welcomed the initiative of the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, assuring that Iraq needs an initiative from a prominent figure like Hakim.
Hakim called, on last Wednesday, all the political sides and the Sunni as well as the Shiite Endowment to hold a meeting at his office in Baghdad to put end for terrorism and to unify the stances.
Romi stated to IraqiNews.com “This initiative will help in reducing the tensions and to eliminate the escalated terrorist attacks.”
“The disputes cannot be settled without holding dialogues among all the politicians,” he added, stressing that “Hakim is a balanced and neutral figure who is accepted by all sides.”
