    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Regional Government confirmed that “Poland is about to grant visa to Poland to the region’s citizens.”
    A statement by the KRG received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited that “During the meeting held by Governor of Erbil Nawzad Hadi, the new General Consul of Poland [Rome Jatta Kiuks] and his accompanying delegation, both sides have discussed the current situation on the Iraqi scene and the Kurdistan Region and means of activating the friendship relations and cooperation between the Region and Poland. “
    The statement added that “The two sides highlighted the need to communicate in order to consolidate the bilateral relations, and exchange commercial and governmental level to take advantage of the Polish experience in the field of reconstruction and development,” noting that “They also discussed means of facilitating the work of Polish investors and companies in the process of construction and reconstruction.”
    The statement stressed that “The Polish General Consul, announced that his country plans to grant visas to citizens of the Kurdistan Region,” describing that as “An important step towards the consolidation of bilateral relations.”
