It announced that the cultivation of the Department of the Directorate of the province of Kirkuk, on Monday, announced the arrival of a committee of the Council of Ministers to the province to discuss the agricultural lending mechanisms and discuss the development of the agricultural sector in Kirkuk.
The cultivation director of Kirkuk Mahdi Mubarak in an interview that "a committee of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has reached, today, to Kirkuk to discuss agricultural loan disbursement mechanisms and discuss the reality of the development of agriculture and prepare complete her study."
Mubarak said, that "the Commission will help the province in the field of agricultural loans to farmers in the province."
Referred to the province of Kirkuk (250 km north of Baghdad), is one of the largest northern governorates producing wheat and barley crops after Nineveh, however, where production saw a decline after 2003 due to lack of irrigation water and the lack of abundant rainfall amounts.
