expects the Russian Ministry of Finance that the country 's budget deficit may reach 3 trillion rubles (about 48 billion US dollars) in 2016, according to a document published on the official website of the gate of the electronic legal information line yesterday Tues
The document added that the Finance Ministry forecast that the budget deficit
Russia may exceed 3.66 percent of GDP in 2016.
according to what is stated in the document, the ministry has reduced revenues worth 370 billion rubles ($ 5.9 billion) to reach 13.3 trillion rubles (210 billion dollars).
according to the document that the ministry has also increased spending by more than 300 billion rubles ($ 4.8 billion) to reach 16.4 trillion rubles (260 billion dollars).
in 2015, the deficit recorded in the Russian federal budget of 2.6 per cent, to reach about 1.9 trillion rubles (30 billion dollars ), according to the ministry, and suffer thefederal budget from increasing pressure due to falling oil prices and the decline of GDP growth rate during 2015.
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Finance Ministry to control the budget deficit within the ceiling of 3 percent of GDP in 2016.
