Iraqi Presidency said on Thursday, that it will hold a meeting in the framework of an honor charter launched by the country's political leaders earlier, indicating that the meeting will be devoted to sign the document
.
“The Presidency of the Republic adopts the honor charter, which was handed over to all the political blocs to show notes on it or to change, delete, and may be add material or a paragraph to the honor document ,” The presidential adviser , Khaled Al-Mulla told “Shafaq News”.
“We expect to have a meeting of the country's political leaders at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan to sign the Honor Charter,” he added.
Vice President, Khodair al-Khozaee has launched a document of honor for “maintaining the national unity of the Iraqi people and protecting the national society and do not let anyone to find religious, nationalism or sectarianism discrimination, as well as adopting dialogue principle as the only way to address the problems in the political process in the country,” According to an official statement.
Iraq's leaders held earlier this month a symbolic meeting at the initiative of the Head of the Supreme Council, Ammar al-Hakim, at a time the country is experiencing an escalating deterioration in security and continuous political crisis.
A reconciliation meeting between Prime Minister , Maliki and Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, after a sharp between the two sides and the exchange of criticisms.
