    Justice Minister Hassan al-Shammari, Thursday, the government's determination of legal cooperation agreements with all countries of the world in order to promote cooperation and exchange of experiences.

    Al-Shammari said in a statement received "Alsumaria News", a copy of it, during a meeting with Sri Lankan ambassador to Iraq Sumit Nakndla, "The government is seeking to hold legal cooperation agreements with all countries of the world, in order to promote cooperation and exchange of experiences in the areas of work of the ministry."

    Shammari stressed "the importance of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Justice of Iraq and Sri Lanka would open new horizons for cooperation between the two countries."

    For his part, the Sri Lankan Ambassador considered that "new agreements with the Iraqi government will contribute to the achievement of a new breakthrough diplomatic work and enhances the political relations between the two countries," expressing his government's desire to "sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the legal and judicial fields."

    The Ministry of Justice announced the end of last year, received requests from several countries, including Yemen, Tunisia and Libya to hold a prisoner exchange agreements with Iraq.
