BAGHDAD - A Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) deputy said three "mistakes" have been made, making the election law "impossible". 
"There is no such thing as an electronic vote," said Vian Dakhil, a member of the party's parliamentary bloc, on her Facebook page. "There is a semi-electronic vote or an electronic acceleration." 
"This means either to force the government, to make voting electronically throughout the country, and this is impossible, or that the parliament to return and vote to change this phrase». 
She pointed out another mistake in the law concerning "granting the Faili Kurds a seat in the province of Wasit," noting that the total number of members of the House of Representatives 328, 320 general number + 8 seats of national quota now became the seat of the quota 9 after the vote.
According to Dakhil, "it was necessary to vote that the general seats have become 319, or that the number of members of the House of Representatives increases to 329, so that the combination is true," indicating that both cases need to vote whether to reduce the number or increase, which did not happen. 
And on the third error in the election law, she did not specify the participation rate and when it is considered legitimate, "explaining that in this case, if only 5% take the results, and this is also a violation. 
The House legal committee agreed on aspects it said were "illegal" in the election law. 
The head of the committee Mohsen al-Sadoun, a deputy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, also stressed, in a press conference, that «the law of parliamentary elections in a political nature and each block wants to legislate according to its interest».
He added: «The Legal Committee agreed with the political blocs to make six amendments to the law in order to pass it, and was submitted proposals and amendments, but was rejected by the House of Representatives, such as the adoption of the preparatory certificate as a minimum», adding that «the imposition of the candidate's certificate in the bachelor's degree instead of junior high Committed by the contrary to the proposal of the Legal Committee and voted on the proposal of the political blocs ».
