Global markets await 3 important economic events

This week, a number of European countries will unveil important data, notably inflation and economic growth, as well as the release of corporate results. OPEC report on Monday revealed its monthly report on July, which saw the start of the reduction of compliance with the agreement to reduce production. In June, producers within and outside OPEC agreed to cut compliance with a 100 percent cut in output. Producers agreed to increase production following an increase in crude prices at $ 80 a barrel. European Data The eurozone and a number of European countries are releasing important data this week, inflation and economic growth. On the level of economic growth data, Germany and the euro zone are due to release the data on Thursday. German GDP is expected to grow 0.4 percent in the three months to June, from 0.3 percent in the first quarter . The euro zone is the second-quarter economic growth figure for the second quarter of this year, with expectations for a first-quarter estimate of 0.3 percent. Business of companies The season of corporate results is nearing completion with only 14 companies reporting the Standard & Poor's US results this week. The most prominent companies scheduled to announce their results this week are Wal-Mart and Houm Duopet.
