Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The media office of the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, denied the reports over criticizing the statements of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in which he criticized the Sadr Trend and the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council.
A statement by Jaafary’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Jaafary received a delegation of Ahrar bloc at his office in Baghdad on last Wednesday,” noting that “When the delegation members asked about Jaafary’s opinion over the TV interview of Maliki and his statements against the Sadr Trend and SIIC, Jaafary answered that he did not watch the interview.”
Earlier, MP, Ameer al-Kinani, of Sadr Trend assured that Jaafary expressed his sorry for Maliki’s statements during out meeting with him.
