    Parliamentary Finance Committee on Friday criticized the Iraqi government recourse to external borrowing in order to address the budget deficit, indicating that the move will hurt the local economy for many years.
    Committee member Ahmed Hama In an interview with "direction Press," said the government's reliance on foreign loans and dramatically in the last period lead to the weakness of the Iraqi economy and unfettered for long periods at a time that the government can not afford the burden of borrowing under the current circumstances, noting that the decline in prices oil and the war on Daesh cost the state treasury large sums of money.
    He added that the foreign loan request with financial and economic implications is the value of the benefits of the borrowed state and commissions leads to a decline in the purchasing power of local materials .
    It is said that Abdul-Razzaq al-Issa Iraqi Minister of Finance Agency said that Britain had agreed to arrange loans worth 10 billion pounds, or the equivalent of 12.29 billion dollars, to finance infrastructure projects in Iraq over 10 years.
