The head of South Korea's Acting Prime Minister, Huang Guo said Monday that South Korea and the United States are determined to punish North Korea in the event proceeded further provocations. Was quoted by Yonhap news agency, Huang was quoted as saying after talks with US Vice President, Michael Pence, "Republic of Korea and the United States would take the strong punitive measures in the event of further provocations", following that "the alliance between Korea and the United States is a pillar of peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula and North East Asia".
Huang also confirmed that it had reached an agreement with the US Vice-President, on the deployment of US missile defense system "THAAD" in the country as soon as enabled. This arrived US Vice President, Michael Pence, Monday to South Korea to visit 3 days.
The visit comes against the backdrop of tense situation on the Korean Peninsula, where spotted South Korea and its allies failed attempt to launch a ballistic missile by North Korea, on Sunday, hours of the arrival of US Vice President Michael Pence, to South Korea before. South Korea and Japan also announced that it is expected that Pyongyang conduct another missile test on April 25 / April almost, in the 85 anniversary of the founding of the Korean People's Army.
US President Donald Trump announced after North Korea carried out the launch of the recent missile April 5 / April, the United States look at all options to respond to the activity of North Korea on missile and nuclear tests. The United States sent a group of warships, including the aircraft carrier "Carl and forget", to the Korean Peninsula coast, and sent a missile destroyer "Stethem" to the South China Sea, against the backdrop of rising tensions after the nuclear tests of North Korea. For its part, North Korea has launched new threats threatening the United States, a nuclear strike.
