Al-Iraqiya semi-official channel quoted al-Maliki as saying in a statement briefed by “Shafaq News” that “he announce his support for the demonstrators' demands and stresses his support for them”.
Thousands of demonstrators protested on Saturday in 14 provinces which are ; Baghdad, Basra, Missan, Najaf, Babil, Diwaniyah, Anbar, Nineveh, Karbala, Diyala, Kirkuk, Dhi -Qar and Wasit.
