35 killed in Taliban attack on central Afghanistan hospital

The Afghan government has accused the Taliban of killing 35 people during an attack on a hospital in the central Afghan province of Gore last weekend.
"When the Taliban entered the hospital, they killed 35 civilians," Afghan presidential spokesman Shah Hussein Mortazavi was quoted as saying by AFP on Monday, without elaborating whether the victims were sick or doctors. The official described the incident as "a brutal crime against humanity".
The spokesman gave no further details, but unconfirmed reports said on Sunday that the Taliban set fire to the building of the hospital and killed all those inside.
