White House communications director threatens news killers

Arabic and International Friday, July 28, 2017

Anthony Scaramuchi, director of communications at the newly appointed White House, has threatened to kill officials who leak the news of President Donald Trump's administration to the press.

Trump's administration faces the problem of leakage of sensitive and accurate information inside the White House to the press, which is embarrassing for the president because this information is based on media news reports are often not in his favor.

In an article he wrote on Thursday, Ryan Liza, a New Yorker reporter, said Scaramuchi had contacted him and asked him about the source of a report he published on a working dinner that brought together the new communications director, Trump and staff at Fox News.

When he refused to report on his source, a senior official in the Trump administration, he warned that he would "expel all the communications department staff at the White House," and added that he wanted to kill all "news gamblers."

The main reason for the appointment of a new communications director at the White House was to control the news "informers," whom Trump has repeatedly described as criminals.

Although only a few days after Scarmucci's appointment, he made a lot of controversy over the past period, the last of which was yesterday when he used very crude words when he talked about Steve Bannon, Trump's adviser, .

Reports were circulating about the new director's intention to expel all employees in his administration, but denied this in press statements earlier this week.
