    The House of Representatives yesterday voted on 46 articles of the draft law on provincial and district elections, while delaying the questioning of the Minister of Trade and Salman Jumaili to the next session to be held mid-month.
    At the beginning of the 12th ordinary session held under the chairmanship of Dr. Salim Jubouri, the President of the Council and in the presence of 212 deputies, the President of the Council thanked the heads of parliamentary blocs and committees for their keenness to discuss the draft law of provincial and district elections during the meeting held yesterday (yesterday) in order to ensure the building of institutions The state and the interests of all, pointing out the efforts of ladies and gentlemen MPs to achieve consensus within the legislative institution and serve the interests of the people.
    He praised the meeting held by the Legal Committee with the Ministers of Defense, Interior and Justice and the National Security Adviser to discuss some draft laws, including amending the amnesty law, pointing out the importance of such meetings to coordinate positions between the Council and the competent ministries.
    He also thanked the MP Hamid al-Khudari for submitting proposals related to the provincial elections law.
    The Presidency of the Council decided to postpone the vote on the draft amendment to the Third Law of Governorates not organized in the region No. (21) for the year 2008 submitted by the legal committees and regions and governorates not organized in the region for discussion at length for its importance in building the state and resolve the trend between the central administration or decentralization.
    The Council completed the vote on 46 articles out of 53 articles in the draft provincial and district elections law submitted by the two legal committees and the regions and governorates not organized in the province, provided that the voting is completed at the next session.
    On the question of the interrogation of Salman Jumaili, Minister of Commerce Agency at the request of Deputy High Nassif, the Speaker of the House of Representatives that the presidency of the Council resorted to verify the authenticity of the signing of the interrogators after the submission of a list bearing the signatures of 46 deputies as well as another list to strengthen this trend while the back of the papers submitted The existence of questioning the signature of one deputy, pointing out that a query was directed to the Federal Court on the fact that the investigation of the validity of signatures whether or not to suspend the questioning.
