[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Bateikh, called the government to cancel the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture to call the farmers to pay the rental fees for the lands that they contracted for.[/ltr]
[ltr]In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The MoA calls the farmers to pay the rental fees for the lands that they contracted for from 2004 till 2012,” he added, noting that “Most the farmers did not receive their money over selling their seeds to the Ministry of Trade,” calling “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to personally interfere in this issue and cancel the fees.”[/ltr]
