"
"The project comes in a step that is the first of its kind to expand the company's work in terms of river transport," said Mohiuddin Al-Emara, Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs. "The field was fielded with a specialized team to establish a river berth linking Umm Qasr with the FAO district, This step is important to shorten the road in transporting goods and people from Umm Qasr and Khor al-Zubayr to FAO, noting that it will save time and reduce congestion on the road.
