    [ltr]The Ministry of Transport announced on Tuesday the agreement to purchase five passenger aircraft from Bombardier of Canada, while the new aircraft will provide 20% of the fuel compared to regular aircraft.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The ministry has reached an agreement with Bombardier of Canada to purchase five C-300 passenger planes," Transport Minister Kazem al-Hamami said in a statement received by Mawazine News.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added that he "reached a formula for an agreement with the Canadian company to activate a preliminary contract signed between the two sides in 2013, to buy five aircraft, and to use them to supply the fleet of Iraqi Airways with other modern aircraft."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He explained that "the new aircraft provide 20% of fuel compared to regular aircraft," stressing that "the safety factor is very high and has the potential to landing unmanned."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Bombardier, the Canadian aircraft manufacturer, announced in 2013 the signing of a letter of intent with Iraqi Airways to buy five C-300 aircraft worth about $ 387 million.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Iraq has a modern fleet of passenger aircraft, consisting of 33 Boeing and Bombardier Canada.[/ltr]
