    The Council of Ministers decided on Sunday to establish a public company with self-financing to manage Iraqi airspace, with a capital of 50 billion dinars. 

    The company said in a statement that the company will be called "the General Company for Air Navigation Service", whose capital will be financed from the public treasury. Radars, radio communication systems, landing and take-off systems and the Institute of Training of Air Observers of the General Civil Aviation Corporation Of the new company with a capital of 100 million dinars. " 

    The decision of the Council of Ministers stated that "the British company Sirco will undertake the same tasks in addition to the task of collecting the transit and proximity fees during the activation of the contract between the General Civil Aviation Corporation and the International Air Carriers Association (IATA). Deposit of such fees ".

    He noted that "the company's resources will be used to pay the salaries of air controllers, and pay part of the wages of the service contract to the company Sirkou, while the government pays the remaining amount of the monthly service contract payments to the British company Sirkou until 2016/06/30, and decreasingly linked to the amount of revenue received Of transit and proximity fees. " 

    The decision also called for the Ministry of Transport to take the necessary measures to implement this decision, while the General Civil Aviation Authority will amend the airport fare system in order to maximize the financial resources resulting from the fees.
