Oil obliges oil companies to build residential and service complexes for workers in the oil sector

The Oil Ministry announced on Wednesday that it has committed oil companies to build modern housing complexes for workers in the oil sector according to the latest architectural and civilizational designs.
Oil Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a press statement that "the ministry is keen to provide the ideal environment for workers in the oil sector and concern for the provision of means of work and living according to the contexts and mechanisms and regulations adopted by the international oil companies."
"Oil Minister Jabbar Ali al-Allaibi issued a circular obligating the oil companies contracting with the Ministry of Oil to build modern housing complexes and provide basic services to workers in the oil sector according to the latest architectural, civilizational and environmental designs, commensurate with their efforts and work to sustain oil production and develop the oil and gas industry in the country "He said.
"The commitment of international companies contracting with the ministry and its oil formations by implementing modern housing complexes in the oil and other provinces will contribute to adding aesthetic and civilized character to these cities," Jihad said.
