Tamimi said in a statement that "the Finance Committee continues to hold a series of meetings to listen to the requests of the political blocs," noting that "the meetings also continue with the advanced staff of the Ministries of Finance and Planning in the presence of the Prime Minister."
Tamimi added that "the Finance Committee also met with the first and second deputies to the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the presence of the heads of political blocs and a number of deputies representing various provinces," noting that "everyone agreed to overcome controversial articles and accelerate the legislation of the general budget of the country."
Tamimi said "overcome many of the obstacles to the adoption of the budget during these meetings," pointing out that "things are going well towards the adoption of the budget."
The House of Representatives witnessed in the past two days intensive movement and continuous meetings between the parliamentary blocs to resolve differences on the financial budget for 2018, in the presence of Prime Minister Haider Abadi for two consecutive days to parliament to accelerate the adoption of the budget.
