Saudi Arabia attaches importance to bringing down Israel's F16

In the first Saudi comment on the fall of the Israeli F16 fighter with Syrian fire, former Saudi general Anwar Eshki said the crash would have a major impact in the Middle East.
"The downing of the Israeli F-16 in Syria will change the rules of the game in the Middle East ," he said on his official Twitter page.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced the crash of the fighter "F-16" Israeli, after bombing targets in Syria, noting that the pilots on board were rescued and evacuated.
The Israeli military spokesman Jonathan Konricos revealed the details of the air raids that targeted military sites in the Syrian territories, stressing that the air force carried out two series of raids, targeting the command center commanding an Iranian aircraft violated Israeli airspace, and 12 military locations.
Conricos said the raids were "defensive in nature" in response to "aerial aggression by Iran," stressing the army's insistence on protecting Israeli sovereignty and readiness to respond decisively to anyone who attacks the country, without paying attention to escalation.
