    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Saturday telephoned the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, the first between the two sides since the Kurdistan region held a referendum on independence in September, offering condolences on the death of his nephew Delvan Barzani last week.
