Fifteen terrorists were killed in air strikes by the Egyptian army on Saturday, targeting the dens of gunmen in several places in the city of Arish north of Sinai, and around the central Sinai area, according to Egyptian security sources.
The sources said, according to Sky News, seen by (Mawazin News), "The Air Force was able during the intensive security campaigns to bombard 60 graves for militants in the areas (Jihad Abu Tabal), west of the international airport Arish and south-west of the airport."
She added that "the police forces and the army was able to arrest 3 wanted individuals to the investigation authorities, as they tried to cross" Ahmed Hamdi tunnel in a civilian car with money in the way of gunmen in northern Sinai. "
The army also foiled an attempt to detonate four explosive devices in Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah, and were detonated with live ammunition without causing casualties among the forces.
The Egyptian army destroyed 76 terrorist barracks in Rafah and Sheikh Zuwaid, and seized seven members of the so-called "Ansar al-Maqdis" organization on charges of providing logistical support and monitoring the movements of the army.[/ltr]
