After the results of the first legislative elections, which witnessed the progress of the alliance of others backed by the Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, the latter went directly to visit the shrine of his father and two brothers in Najaf who were shot dead by security forces belonging to the regime of Saddam Hussein in the nineties.
The pictures showed the office of Sadr's latest media, which provides what is known as a prayer of thanks in the shrine of "martyr Mohammed Mohammed Sadiq al-Sadr."
Thousands of Sadr supporters celebrated in Tahrir square in central Baghdad after the results were announced.
Sadr's alliance with the Communist Party and other blocs on the basis of anti-corruption, ranked first in six provinces out of 18, and second in four others.
