On Tuesday (December 7, 2021), the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and the representative of the United Nations Mission in Iraq, Jenin Plaschaert, stressed the ratification of the election results "without delay" by the Federal Court .
Al-Sadr's private office stated, in a statement received by  IQ News , that "Al-Sadr received the head of the United Nations mission in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, at his home in Najaf - Al-Hanana, and during the meeting, they talked about the political situation that Iraq is going through ."
According to the statement, Plasschaert congratulated the Sadrist bloc on its victory in the parliamentary elections, stressing that "the Sadrists' electoral campaign was successful, and that democratic elections are of its nature to produce a winner and a loser, and this is the true meaning of it ."
And she added, "The technical assistance provided by the United Nations was at the request of the reference, Mr. Sadr, the Iraqi government and several other political parties," noting that "the election management by the commission was good and technically successful ."
The statement pointed out that "the two sides stressed the importance of ratifying the results without delay - inappropriate - by the Federal Court."
