British prince visits Jerusalem for this reason

The British Prince William visited Thursday the grave of his great grandmother Princess Alice in Jerusalem, a princess honored by Israel for harboring Jews in Greece when she was under Nazi occupation during the Holocaust.
Today is the last day of Prince William's visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories, the first official visit of its kind by a prominent member of the British royal family, according to Reuters.
Princess Alice, Princess of Battenberg and Greece, is the mother of Queen Elizabeth's husband. She was buried in a crypt in the Russian Orthodox Church of Mary Magdalene, located on the Mount of Olives outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.
She died in London in 1969 after she asked to be buried in Jerusalem next to her aunt, a nun like Alice.
In 1993 she was included in the Righteous Among the Nations award, the highest honor awarded to the non-Jewish Yad Vashem Holocaust Center for concealing three members of the Cohen family at her palace in Athens during the Second World War.
After visiting the tomb of Princess Alice, Prince William is scheduled to visit the square, which includes the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall.
Prince William visited the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, where he met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and toured a refugee camp on a day he also passed through the coastal city of Tel Aviv.
In a speech on Wednesday in Jerusalem, he told the Palestinians: "You have not forgotten."
