    Basra Council discusses the demands of the demonstrators today


    Basra provincial council member Ali Shaddad al-Faris announced on Monday that the council is determined to hold the regular weekly session on Monday to discuss the demands of the demonstrators in the governorate.
    "The demands of the demonstrators were handed over to the cell of the government crisis headed by Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi, as well as those handed over to Prime Minister Haider Abadi during his visit to the province last week."
    He added that "the Council will work to set priorities for the demands of demonstrations and guide the competent committees to follow up the files submitted to the Committee of Ministers and the Prime Minister in order to achieve."
