The Ministry of Finance confirmed the availability of funds and financial framework and approvals for the completion of integrated water projects for the province of Basra, either through desalination or exploitation of water Tigris and Euphrates.
"The file of water is one of the important vital files for the province of Basra, and therefore the funds necessary for this purpose are available," Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Maher Hammad Jouhan said, noting that "the delay of completion of this file was not due to government decisions as it was discussed by the President The ministers and ministers concerned several times, "noting that" all approvals are open to release amounts on water projects to be an integrated project for the province of Basra, either through desalination or exploitation of water coming through the Tigris and Euphrates and the financial framework is available.
