    Closed the file and the Ministry of Finance to pay remittances yellow Egyptian workers, amounting to 408 million dollars.
    The director of the Public Debt Department at the Ministry Muwafaq Taha Izz al-Din Al-Houri's (IMN), that "the ministry paid the full debt of Egypt by remittances, yellow, amounting to 408 million U.S. dollars during 2013."
    He explained, "the amount of money paid through a system of payments within the budget in 2013."
    The Government confirmed earlier, it is unable to pay the debt of Egyptian workers in one go, but rather to elevate payments.
    It was announced by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, on 5 March that he agreed with the Egyptian government to resolve a lot of issues, notably the file Egyptian debts owed
    ​​by Iraq in the forefront of what is known as "yellow remittances" that are related to Egyptian labor in Iraq.
