Denied the alliance victory led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi, on Sunday, the news that talks about the nomination of an alternative figure for the latter prime minister, considering that talking about the nomination of a replacement character is premature.
"All the candidates of the victory coalition in the parliamentary elections, as well as the heads of the parties and blocs affiliated with the coalition, declared their commitment to Abadi as the sole candidate for prime minister," Nada Shaker Jawdat, a leader of the alliance, told Al-Mawloma.
"The coalition did not offer any candidate as an alternative to Abadi and what was raised in some media just a media whirlwind," said Jawdat, noting that "talking about the nomination of an alternative character is premature."
