    A member of the Fath Alliance, Amer al-Fayez, said on Sunday that the next government would not be bound by Abadi's declaration on Iraq's commitment to US sanctions against Iran.
    "The next government will not be bound by what Abbadi announced about his commitment to US sanctions against Iran," the winner said in a televised interview.
    He added that "the government's decision on sanctions was a surprise to the political community," surprising Abadi's commitment to those unilateral sanctions, which do not represent a resolution to be committed until it is committed.
    "The economy of Iraq is linked to Iran, where the private sector will be severely affected, and therefore Baghdad should negotiate with Washington to exclude it from the province of Iran."
    "Iraq would have preferred to wait for a moratorium on sanctions imposed on Iran, especially as it has overcome the electricity crisis through Iran's electricity and gas pipeline," he said. End 25 n
