    Iraq and Turkey agreed to hold their joint committee meeting.
    "Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim received a telephone call from his Turkish counterpart Zhaosh Okluwa congratulating him on his assumption of the post of foreign minister in the new Iraqi government," a foreign ministry statement said. "Turkey is keen to develop relations Bilateral relations between the two countries and his readiness to cooperate fully with the wise minister. "
    For his part, thanked the wise minister for congratulations and stressed his readiness to work diligently to develop relations between Baghdad and Ankara for the good of the two countries and the two friendly peoples.
    The two ministers stressed "the continuation of the work of the Iraqi-Turkish Joint Commission in the near future and include ambitious and important trends that will drive the reality and future relations between the two countries."
