    Shafaq News/ The Iraqi National Security Ministerial Council decided, on Wednesday, to tighten preventive measures at border crossings on imported goods, especially electronic devices.
    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool Abdullah, said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, that the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, during which the latest developments in the security situation in Iraq were discussed, the topics on the agenda were discussed, and recommendations were made regarding them.
    The meeting discussed unifying the Cabinet decisions regarding the delivery of colored metal waste to the Military Industrialization Authority and the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.
    The Council approved granting temporary lump sum allowances to anti-drug workers in the southern regions.
    The Council listened to a detailed briefing on developments in the Lebanese Republic, and stressed the continuation of sending medical and humanitarian aid to treat the injured.
    The Council stressed on the border crossings to take the necessary and preventive measures to avoid any possible breach, and also stressed the security check on imports, intensively before contracting them and dealing with reliable companies before the import process with regard to electronic devices.
