Russian company Rosneft announced Thursday that it has signed an agreement to stabilize the situation in the fuel market, noting that the agreement was sent to the Russian government.
"Following the meeting held by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, a constructive dialogue was held with the aim of overcoming the temporary instability in the petroleum products market," Rosneft said. "Rosneft supports the government's actions to stabilize the oil products market. "Support the resolution proposed by the government."
"The relevant documents were signed and sent to the government," the company said.
The head of "Rosneft" confirmed the end of last month that his country does not rule out a sharp rise in oil prices due to geopolitical factors, pointing out that this is unprofitable for producers and buyers, noting that the US actions may lead to imbalance in world oil markets.
"OPEC, in turn, has reduced its share in the international oil market for the American rock oil industry," Sechin said at the Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona.
