BAGHDAD / The deputy governor of the province of Dhi Qar Sadeq Hamid said on Monday that the federal Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, was given a prominent position of a coalition led by Moqtada al-Sadr, and remained only sign the measure.
Hamid said in a press statement that a coalition would nominate Hamid al-Ghazi, head of the Dhi Qar provincial council, to take over the post of secretary-general of the Council of Ministers.
"We are waiting for the resolution to be issued, because all the parties have agreed on this, and they have only left their duties," he said. "The signing of this is only a matter of time." Finished
