- US President Donald Trump promised a "new approach" to his country's wars onWednesday, asserting the liberation of most of Saddam Hussein's land in Iraq and Syria .
Trump said in his address to Congress , "As a presidential candidate, prepared a new approach (for wars), the superpowers are not fighting in endless wars."
Trump described the challenges facing his administration in the Middle East as "complex," but noted that when he took office, "he was a preacher who controlled 20,000 square miles in Syria and Iraq, and most of that land was liberated."
Trump went on to say, "When we work with our allies to liquidate remnants," he urged, "it is time to call our brave soldiers to return home."
"For example, 10 years ago, the United States signed an agreement with Russia, under which we agreed to reduce and reduce our missile capabilities." While we were fully complying with the agreement, Russia repeatedly violated its terms " .
