The Financial Committee of the parliamentary, on Saturday, that the federal government sent 12 months salaries to employees of the Kurdistan Region for the year 2018.
And the transfer of information of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan MP Sherwan Mirza said that the information that they have reported that the federal government sent the amount of 317 billion Iraqi dinars, for the Kurdistan region twice the salaries of January and February of this year, pointing out that this amount sent from the budget 1/12 of the year 2018, which means the completion of the federal government to send salaries of staff of the province for the past year.
He added Mirza, that Baghdad has not yet begun to send salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region in accordance with the new budget law, noting that it is expected to send the federal government salaries this month in accordance with the federal budget law for the year 2019.
Mirza pointed out that the House of Representatives will resume its meetings on the fifth of March, indicating that the Finance Committee will meet with the Federal Minister of Finance to discuss the issue of sending salaries of staff of the region in accordance with the new budget law.
