Masari said that "these areas are inhabited by a large number of clans, which have lived for hundreds of years and have bonds to prove ownership and estimated the number of residents in these areas to 250 thousand people," adding that "In order to that the Council issued a decision to confiscate these areas and give them to the investor "He said.

He pointed out that "the decision has negative effects on citizens because it contributes to the confiscation of their property and displacement and thus clearly harm them," surprising "the government's insistence on its implementation despite the objections of the people and many political forces and our belief that the decision contributes to weaken the citizen's confidence in the government and has repercussions Dangerous future ".

Al-Masari called on the Prime Minister "to take into account the interest of the citizens and to cancel the said decision because of the severe damage to the property and their property in light of the citizen's lack of basic services provided to him," stressing that "the project is limited to land occupied by citizens of the tribes of the region and Vacant land ".

"The Investment Authority granted investment to agricultural land that was distributed according to Law 117 of 1971, and the granting of investment in these lands caused forced displacement of thousands of citizens in an area of 105 thousand acres around Baghdad airport," said Ammar al-Shibli and Zaytun al-Dulaimi. "He said.

Shibli explained that "these investment contracts passed at the time of the transition period before Abdul Mahdi assumed the premiership, and the current Prime Minister Abdul-Mahdi to save more than 7,000 homes and large areas of orchards will be bulldozed."

Shibli also said, "We sent a letter to the Investment Authority and the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in which we show this great breach by granting investment license without reference to the competent authorities." He stressed that "the people refuse to give their land and their homes to any investment company."

Al-Shibli pointed out that "DAMAC is a losing company which makes it ineligible to take investment in building projects and building housing."

On the same company, Deputy High Nassif called on the Prime Minister to instruct the National Investment Commission not to transfer land or buildings and investment projects to the representative of DAMAC and to withdraw the licenses granted to him and take legal action against him because he does not implement any of the projects, but sells investment licenses.
