Economic Council: The inclusion of Babylon on the UN list will be a reason to include more effects and features of Iraq

The Iraqi Economic Council said that the inclusion of the city of Babylon archaeological on the list of UNESCO International is a great achievement for the Iraqi state.
"The inclusion of Babylon in this UN charter will be a reason to include more of the country's monuments and landmarks on the international list, which started with the marshes and other cultural and archaeological landmarks that our country has," Council member Sadik al-Mashat said in a statement.
Al-Mashat pointed out that "the inclusion of the city of Babylon on the UNESCO list is an achievement for the Iraqi people and will be the beginning of a real work to revitalize the tourism sector, which is one of the most important joints of the Iraqi economy."
Members of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee voted Friday to include the city of Babylon on the World Heritage List.
