The Iraqi Geological Survey of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced on Thursday that its cadres were continuing to carry out excavation, surveying and mineral exploration in various governorates.
"The cadres of the Geological Survey of Iraq from the staff of the Department of Geology, during the month of July, the work of the metal investigation of the sand and gravel west of the province of Basra," said the Director General of the Commission Safaauddin Fakhri Abdul Majeed in a statement received.
He added that "these investigations will contribute to increasing the reserves of sand and gravel, which will contribute to support investment opportunities and the provision of construction materials for infrastructure," stressing that "cadres of the Commission is making great efforts and extraordinary to complete its tasks in the exploration and investigation of metal in various provinces Country ".
