The Turkish army has backed 255 PKK members in all operations in northern Iraq against the separatist organization since the start of the "claw" operation on May 27.
According to the agency "Anatolia", "a painful blow to the organization, between 17 to 19 July, has been neutralized 34 terrorists in air raids on the strongholds of the organization in Mount Qandil and Qara Jag region."
The sources pointed out that "the participation of about 20 fighters as well as unmanned aircraft, and aircraft armed march, in raids on the sites of the Organization in the two regions."
The raids resulted in the neutralization of 16 elements in Qandil and 18 in Qara Jag, according to preliminary information, while special forces continue to hunt down the organization's members during the ongoing claw operation in the Hakurk area.
