A spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq leaves office and takes on a new responsibility

Presidential Spokesman Luqman al-Faili announced on Saturday that he would leave his post and take over a new responsibility in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.
"We are on a new mission at the center of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry," Al-Faili wrote on social media platforms.
"It has been a rich and different experience, wishing His Excellency and his team continued success."
Al-Faili told Shafaq News that he was appointed "at the ministry's current position as head of the US Department."
