The Martyrs Foundation includes the residential complexes project in the 2020 plans

The Martyrs Foundation announced on Saturday that it has successfully included the project of housing complexes for families of martyrs in the plans of the Ministry of Planning for 2020.
In a statement received by Khattat Press, the foundation said, "The amounts required for the construction of housing complexes projects implemented by the Ministry of Housing, Construction, Municipalities and Public Works were taken into consideration for the foundation and coordination with the said ministry when preparing proposals for investment budget schedules for 2020".
She added that "this important step comes directly from the efforts of the President of the Foundation, Najah Abdul Amir al-Shammari, who directly supervised the discussions that took place with the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Construction and Housing, to obtain the fundamental approvals for inclusion in the investment plan for the construction of housing complexes for the families of martyrs." A large number of martyrs' families suffer from difficulties in obtaining housing units because of the lack of financial allocations that coincided with the addition of new categories of martyrs as stipulated in the Foundation Law, which required redoubled efforts to provide adequate housing for the families of martyrs.
