    The Ministry of Communications announced on Sunday that it is coordinating with the directorates of communications in the country's various governorates and with local governments and the competent security services to stop the smuggling of internet capacities.
    The senior undersecretary for technical affairs at the ministry Amir al-Bayati said in a statement reported by the official newspaper "morning" and informed him (information), that "the ministry is working to follow up the smuggling of Internet packages in order to stop them through coordination with the Directorates of Communications in Baghdad and the provinces of the country, where it will be addressed Through prompt and immediate action by telecom managers in the country's provinces. ”
    Al-Bayati added that "coordination will be direct with the governors and security forces within the governorate concerned," noting that his ministry "will end this file through the implementation of international access gateways project, in addition to the development of its own applications, as well as the work of the operations center, which will monitor the quality of the Internet Provided by companies equipped with Internet service will be reported companies lagging in processing the service to the citizen.
    He added that his ministry has "coordinated in advance with the Integrity Commission and the private security services in order to thwart the smuggling of Internet capacities that the country is still suffering from its consequences, as it continues to negatively affect the quality of services available to citizens in addition to government institutions, revealing the existence of many sites that work on Smuggling of Internet capacities, pointing to the need for his ministry to join efforts by governmental and non-governmental bodies to detect other sites and stop smuggling of capacities to improve the quality and speed of Internet service.
    He revealed, "Preparation of special plans to improve the quality of Internet service, as several steps will be taken in this regard, the most important of which is the operation of access gates through the General Peace Company of the Ministry for the intensive efforts made by this company to control the smuggling of Internet capacities."
