[rtl]Pessimistic speculation is mounting these days about the future of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, his government, and the possibility of the latter's voluntary resignation, or that the major political blocs agree to remove him from office.[/rtl]
[rtl]Sadr's leader, Muqtada al-Sadr, the main supporter of Abdul-Mahdi, declared "the end of the government," if it did not take tough measures to modify its course, to exacerbate those speculations. The political blocs said, "That's all I can do, look for an alternative."[/rtl]
[rtl]A source, who preferred not to be named, said that "some political blocs have become very embarrassed in front of their public complain about the recession experienced by most of the country's joints under the government of Abdul-Mahdi."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "a few political blocs are surprised by the weakness inherent in the work of the current prime minister and not showing enough strength to face the challenges faced by the state, especially in the field of external breaches and some uncontrolled armed factions and the economic file."[/rtl]
[rtl]But the source believes that "the political blocs are aware that the dismissal of the prime minister is complex and difficult, so she prefers to besiege him politically and forced him to submit his voluntary resignation."[/rtl]
[rtl]No political blocs or the Iraqi parliament have replaced or sacked the prime minister since 2003, and no prime minister during the last four parliamentary sessions has been removed from office by voluntary resignation during his four-year term.[/rtl]
