    BAGHDAD - The
    High Commission for Human Rights revealed on Wednesday that the government owes those affected by the former regime in accordance with the amendment of the Law of the Property Claims trillion and 100 million dinars.
    A member of the Commission Ali al-Bayati in a statement received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, "The Law of the Property Claims Commission No. 13 of 2010 Article (22) terminated the law in 30/6/2011 where citizens can no longer affected by the takeover of the former regime on their land And their property to submit transactions to the Commission for consideration and compensation, similar to 163 thousand people whose transactions were received by the Commission before the date of termination of its work according to law.
    He added, "There are a large number of citizens have been settled their transactions, but the Commission can not compensate them because of the lack of allocations by the Ministry of Finance, as the affected people demand money amounts to (trillion and one hundred million Iraqi dinars) to compensate them for the damage suffered by the Baath regime only This is a violation of citizens' rights and a violation of the law. "
    Al-Bayati pointed out that "to achieve justice to parliament amend the law of property disputes article 22 to extend the receipt of citizens' transactions and the Ministry of Finance to provide the required allocations according to the law of the Commission to expedite the compensation of their cases."
